Description

FROST is a tender salute to life. An emotional journey through a dreamlike space.

Inspired by nature and the belief that inclusivity should know no boundaries, we crafted a possibility space where surprises and new, deeply personal experiences are imaginable and likely to happen to anyone, regardless of age, interests, and cultural background.

Innovation

Swarming behavior is an impressive natural phenomenon. Flocks appear as fluid, coherent groups, yet they are made of many individual agents. Their complex team play delights us as observers and has inspired the arts and science since their early stages.

FROST is an innovative game that provides an immersive space where you can experience, interact with, and touch the complexity of this phenomenon. Only your curiosity and creativity affect the game play. With a mindful and observant approach, you can make friends with many fascinating, beautiful, and sometimes bizarre species.

Technology

In a colorful and immersive world, different species interact with each other, forming new species and behaviors (meta-swarms), often going beyond occurrences observed in nature – a first in gaming.

Currently, no CPU in any consumer device provides the performance needed for calculating the complex swarming behaviors that you can experience in FROST. By utilizing the iOS GPU technology Metal to the fullest, we multiplied the computing power, and this made possible the real-time simulation of swarms and flocks, consisting of thousands of individuals, on an iPhone or iPad.

Gameplay

Draw paths to guide the flocking spirits to their home planets. Watch countless beautiful creatures emerge from light, bring balance to a world in constant motion, and unravel its mysteries.

The first time in your pocket, in a hypnotic tale about attraction, interaction, and transformation:
  • Dancing Stardust
  • Frantic Swarms
  • ...and Neutrino Flowers
Also starring:
  • Particle Hunters
  • Glowing Baitballs
  • Firecracker Bouquets
  • Supergravity Shepherds
  • Living Walls
  • Fountains of Light
